As a professional organizer, I always recommend decluttering, sorting, and measuring before you buy any home organizing products. And that’s still the case. But, I wanted to challenge myself to come up with a ‘best of’ or ‘top ten’ list.
In order to make the list, these organizing products had to be versatile and multipurpose enough to organize a house full of everything. More importantly, they had to bring simplicity and ease into my everyday life.
So, if you’ve ever wondered what products you should buy for organizing, I came up with nine must-have home organizing products. (And I do not use that term loosely.)

The Best Home Organizing Products
The good news is every one of these cool organizing products can be found online, and are currently on sale as a part of Amazon Prime Day.
The Lazy Susan – Lazy susans are so versatile. They come in various sizes and colors. You can also get them divided or double tier.
Being able to spin the turntable allows you easy access to whatever you’re trying to reach. This comes in particularly handy for deep cabinet shelves.
In my own home, I use lazy susans to organize:
- oil and vinegar
- hair products
- cooking/prep items by the stove
You can also use them for pantry items, makeup, school or craft supplies, condiments, or cleaning supplies.
Label Maker – Labeling your organization systems and storage bins lets everyone in your household know where to get things, and where to put them back. That extra touch goes a long way in maintaining your organization systems.
Storage bins – Bins can be used to corral just about anything, anywhere in your home. And since these bins slide like drawers, they keep all your items within easy reach. Use them to organize your laundry room, pantry, bathroom, kitchen… My favorite way to use bins is as a daily basket to corral everything you need to get ready in the mornings.
Key Holder – Use a key holder to store your keys, wallet, phone, dog leash, masks, anything you need as you come and go. Having a designated drop zone means you’ll never have to look for your keys again.
Paper Shredder – Save yourself from paper piles with a shredder. Shred as soon as you bring in the mail to stop paper clutter in its track. I’ve had this particular shredder for a couple of years now, and it works great.
Clothes Storage Bins – Having clothes storage bins has saved me so much room in my closet. Just store off-season clothes in clothes storage organizers, and place them on the top shelf in your closet.
Drawer Organizers – Drawer organizers are the perfect solution for tidying your drawers. Use them to corral tools, makeup, kitchen gadgets, office supplies… It will make everything easier to find and put back.
Drawer dividers – Sometimes you just need dividers to section off your drawers and tidy them up. I love using them in kitchen drawers to separate all those cooking utensils and kitchen gadgets. They also work well in dressers to organize folded clothes or lingerie.
Velvet Hangers – Once you start using velvet hangers, you’ll never go back. They save space, streamline visual clutter, and keep your clothes from slipping. And these particular hangers are very durable. They also come in a variety of colors and hook finishes to go with your aesthetic.
The more I thought about these organizing items, the more I realized I wouldn’t want to live without any of them, because collectively, these nine products work together to simplify my day from morning ’til night.
It’s almost like these organizing products work like magic.
