At Home Spa Day Steps
First, create a schedule of spa treatments for you to follow, just like at a luxury spa. However you choose to start your day, an afternoon nap would be the perfect way to end it. You’ll also want to set a relaxing mood in your bathroom and bedroom.Set the Mood
First, unplug. Turn off your phone or at least put it on do not disturb. Then retreat to your bathroom and fill your tub. For an extra relaxing bath, add epsom salt and a few drops of lavender essential oil to the water. And of course, add some bubble bath or a bath bomb. While the tub is filling, wash and exfoliate your face, then apply your favorite mask. Next, turn off the lights, and turn on some relaxing music. Try the spa music station on Amazon Music, Pandora or Spotify…whichever you use. Light candles or turn on the diffuser. Use a few drops each of lavender and eucalyptus for a spa-like scent.Soak in a Warm Bath
Before you step into the tub, give your body an invigorating dry brush to stimulate your lymphatic system and exfoliate your skin. Now you’re ready to soak in the tub. If you’re going to condition your hair, wet your hair and apply the mask. Then, relax in the tub for at least twenty minutes to get the full benefits of the epsom salts. You can use a body scrub to exfoliate those extra dry spots. Then, lather up with a sea sponge loofah for a luxurious experience. Be sure to remove the facial mask and rinse your hair once the allotted time is up. After your bath, wrap yourself up in a snuggly robe, or not. While your feet are still damp is the perfect time to pamper them with a pumice stone. I’ve found a pumice stone to be the best at smoothing your skin. Follow with a moisturizer for your feet and body.Enjoy a Spa-like Facial
Next, spritz rosewater toner on your face for a super refreshing and hydrating effect. You can repeat this step up to seven times for ultimate hydration. Once your skin is dewy fresh, gently pat a vitamin c, or other treatment serum on your face. Follow that with an under eye moisturizer. Finally, apply a facial oil or moisturizer to your face, neck and hands. Once you’re done, your body will feel so relaxed, your skin will glow, and your mind will settle. All without having to leave the house or spend money. If you feel like it, relax on your bed with a cup of warm tea and a good book. Or slip on an eye mask, mist your pillow with some lavender spray, and drift off for an afternoon nap.7 Benefits of Spa Treatments

Great lesson Mrs. Hines. If I would just make time to do that. Sure would feel good tonight after a long hard day.
